The turning point of the WSK KF2 World Series final has been the first corner, Michelle Gatting (CRG / Maxter) was sent off the track by the start rush, at the same time as Ignazio D’Agosto (Tony Kart / Vortex ). The leader was still running … Chris Lock (Tony Kart / Vortex) was ahead of his countryman Luke Varley (Tony Kart / Vortex). Sébastien Bailly (Kosmic / Vortex) was resistant to attack by Gustavo Menezes (Tony Kart / Vortex) before he could start on Varley.
Gatting tried to set off with a damaged kart, but she had to retire, very disappointed. D’Agosto was still in the race, quite a laggard. Bailly stuck to his goal and was in 2nd position with Lock in his crosshairs. No one seemed able to resist the Belgian who quickly took the lead. Yu Kanamaru (Tony Kart / Vortex) ran his best race of the weekend coming back from 10th to 3rd place, ahead of Varley. Bailly won the race to the clamor of the Belgian fans, 2” from Lock. Sebastian knew he has also won the World Series of WSK in KF2. It was a very good performance!
