The KF3 final was an eventful race. Robert Visoiu (Tony Kart / Vortex) made the best start ahead of Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter), but the first hairpin at the top of the circuit did not turn out well for the Romanian: pushed by the Dutch driver, he found himself in the sand and away from the lead. Verstappen subsequently drove a great race and crossed the finish line in front of the surprising Takashi Kasai (Tony Kart / Vortex) who could not close in on the leader. But the stewards didn’t like the move by Verstappen and decided to exclude him. So the win went to Kasai, followed in second position by Antonio Fuoco (CRG / Maxter) and … Visoiu who was up to 3rd place and happy to be back on the podium.
Verstappen won the WSK KF3 World Series title with a solid lead over his defeated rival. 3rd was Jordi Oriola Villa (CRG / TM), 4th Antonio Fuoco (CRG / Maxter) and 5th Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / Vortex).
