We’re back for the last 4 heats of the World Championships at Zuera. Two British drivers were on the front row of this race, Luke Varley and Lindsay Butcher. Nyck De Vries surged like a cannon to escape ahead of Varley and Butcher. They also gave way to Stefano Cucco, Alexander Walker and Gilbert Mitchell. John Filippi was 11th, Loic Reguillon 16th and Alexandre Arrue 18th.
De Vries controlled the race ahead of Varley, under threat from Cucco and Walker. Cucco took second on lap 6. Filippi drove solid race on the edge of the top 10. De Vries won the race by more than 3” ahead of Cucco and set the fastest lap. Varley 3rd, Gilbert 4th and Walker 5th. Filippi finished his great run in 10th position, and Réguillon was 17th.
