Baron took the lead, but Sendin was very incisive in its wheeltracks. Fraïsse was in third ahead of Bluy, Meunier and Picot. The first two drivers escaped while the platoon was fighting. Bluy took third, followed by Meunier, Fraïsse, Guibbert, Picot and Belmaaziz. Slowed initially by a small confusion at the first corner, Michelle Gatting was back in 10th position.
Guibbert started to attack, thanks to very late braking, and clocked the fastest lap. He took Meunier to gain 4th place, soon followed by Fraïsse. Baron had a 1.8 sec lead ahead of Sendin then Bluy was caught by Guibbert. The overtaking was on the 11th of the 17 laps of the race. Raymond took 6th position from Meunier. Fraïsse set the fastest time, while Bluy closed on Guibbert to regain some time behind Sendin. But the positions remained stable: Guibbert may have chosen to stay on the outside line for the start of the final.
It was a superb victory for Alex Baron, Victor Sendin was second ahead of Enzo Guibbert, Clement Bluy and Vincent Fraïsse.
