Max Verstappen in KF3 was guaranteed the title before the start of the final in the light of the lead he had over Alexander Albon. Freed from the pressure to win, the drivers could engage in a great sporting contest? Stay tuned. In any case, the Russian Egor Orudzhev started in the front row with Pedro Hiltbrand ahead of Spinelli and Fioravanti. Hiltbrand went far to the outside of the track at the start, and after one lap Spinelli was ahead of Dennis, Orudzhev and Sorensen. Gasly lost a wheel in a crash before the end of the lap and Ocon was in 19th place. Albon also retired.
Things lighten up a little on lap 4 with Spinelli leading Sorensen, Hiltbrand, Dennis, who formed a deadly trio, then Verstappen and Orudzhev. Laura Krattiger was in 10th place and in 13th was Alice Brasseur. Fioravanti had a nice duel with Orudzhev for 6th position. Spinelli had built a big lead of about 2.5”.
Two laps from the end, Verstappen took third ahead of Dennis and Fioravanti. Spinelli won the race, visibly delighted after mishaps at the Belgian round. Hiltbrand was second.
