Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) did not miss his chance and quickly deposed his teammate Ben Cooper from the command of the 3rd and final heat at Genk in Super KF. Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) joined him in second position. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) seemed unwilling to accept the situation and was very incisive in the beginning of the race. First he passed Cooper, Catt then Camponeschi to come from 4th then attacked Convers on the next lap: now he was in the lead.
Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) cruised in 10th place. Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) was going well before getting taken out and dropping to the back. There was still a lot of animation at the front of the race: Convers held off an attack from Catt in 3rd and took the lead back when Ardigo retired in two laps due to a problem with his ignition. Catt threatened Convers but he fought back to win in front of Catt, Camponeschi, Groman and Cooper, 5th after a great recovery. It was a successful race as well for Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter) who finished sixth and Matteo Viganò (Birel / Parilla) 7th. De Vries managed to take the ninth position.
