With Andrea Dale and Lars Sorensen, Birel monopolized the front row in KF2 after the qualifying heats at Castelletto, but the great Dale has dominated the competition, except once when he went out on slicks on a wet track. Jacob Nortoft (FA Kart / Vortex) and Michael Heche (Intrepid / TM) retain their chances on the second row.
The French driver Alexander Arrue (Righetti / TM) will start in 6th position, thanks to his victory in a heat, next to Jordan King (Energy / TM). Raffaele Marciello (Parolin / Parilla) qualified in 23rd position ahead of Kevin Susilo (DR / Parilla) and Alessio Costantini (Tony Kart / Vortex), while Kevin Tenorio (Tony Kart / Vortex) narrowly escaped the repechage.
John Filippi (Tony Kart / Vortex) took his second chance by finishing 3rd in the pouring rain in a repechage full of surprises. It’s over for Jakub Dalewski, Dmitry Suranovitch and Jimmy Antunes.
