These are 20 ”Star” drivers from international motor sport and 10 of the best in the world ”Junior” drivers will meet in three days, at the Palais Omnisports at Paris-Bercy for the first ERDF Kart Masters, on 10th and 11th December.
Philippe Streiff took the opportunity to answer a few questions, including on the challenge to revive the event post-season, but also on 100% electric competition karting.

The most successful driver in the world with eight world championships, Sebastien Loeb is racing at Bercy along with F1 drivers Paul Di Resta, Adrian Sutil, Karun Chandhok, Jérôme d’Ambrosio and the best French hopes, Romain Grosjean, Jean-Eric Vergne, Jules Bianchi and also Robert Wickens, the Formula Renault 3.5 Champion from Canada.
Sebastien Loeb will also join former teammate at Bercy, Sébastien Ogier, the recent winner of the 2011 Race of Champions in Germany, also just back from the FIA ??awards in India, on Friday. Endurance racing will be well represented by the Peugeot drivers, Franck Montagny, Stephane Sarrazin and Sebastien Bourdais, winner of the 2010 Le Mans with Audi Romain Dumas and Le Mans Series champions Olivier Lombard (LMP2) and Julien Jousse (LMP1).
The McLaren Mercedes test driver Gary Paffett, the Audi DTM driver Filipe Albuquerque, the Vice World Champion 125cm3 in motorcycle, Johann Zarco are expected at Bercy. Philippe Streiff also invited Nicolas Hamilton, the younger brother of Lewis Hamilton, who has this year launched a career as a racing driver in British Clio Cup. A fine example of the fighting spirit that inspires Philippe Streiff’s commitment to the autonomy of disabled people, passion for cars and access to the competition for all.
With 10 ”Junior” drivers selected by the French Motor Sports Federation, there are 10 nationalities and seven different disciplines of motorsport represented at Bercy for the first event. The drivers in the “Electric Junior Cup” directly from the international karting classes (KF1, KF2, KF3) chosen from their results in 2011.
