It was already over 20° in the sun at Sarno for the Mini Max Qualifying Practice for the 2019 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.
Raphael Rennhofer (AUT) was ahead of Costa Toparis (AUS) and Troy Snyman (ZAF). George Kafantaris (GRC) took the lead, then Jayden Thien (NLD), Paul Alberto (FRA) took over. Andy Ratel (FRA) was 1st on the penultimate lap and his time of 1’05”241 remained undefeated until the end of the session. Toparis finished 2nd by 32 thousandths, Rennhofer 3rd and Thien 4th by less than a tenth. Alberto took 5th place and Jolan Raccamier 6th by a short distance. Karel Schulz was 23rd with a gap of 5 tenths.
