The third round of the OK and Junior European Championship takes place this weekend in Sweden at the Kristianstad circuit. After Marcus Amand’s (Kosmic / Iame) formidable victory in OK-Junior at Genk, which makes him a serious contender for the title, most of his compatriots will be aiming to achieve peak results. Macéo Capietto (KR / Iame) is one of the best-placed Frenchmen with his 11th position in the provisional standings, while the potential of Evan Giltaire (Sodi / TM) only needs to be revealed. Elliott Vayron (BirelART / TM), capable of the best results, will no doubt aim for greater consistency by limiting incidents. Another effort is needed from Enzo Peugeot (Kosmic / Iame) to avoid pitfalls and reach the Final, as well as Arthur Rogeon (Sodi / TM) who continues to gain experience.
In OK, the seven French drivers in the running are with the Belgian team VDK Racing. They are all on the hunt for their first points in the Championship. The meeting was short in Belgium for Loris Cabirou (Kosmic / Iame), Thomas Imbourg (Kosmic / Iame), Franck Chappard (Redspeed / Iame) or Sami Meguetounif (Kosmic / Iame). The experienced Nicholas Picot (Kosmic / Iame) is still capable of a great deal, but Evann Mallet (Redspeed / Iame) has so far missed out on success, as has Tom Uzan (Kosmic / Iame).
