As usual, the final Qualifying Heats were lively because of the tyre management issue. Big differences in performance (almost a second a lap) were shaking things up and the favourites, keeping their new tyres for the Final, had to pay a lot of attention to the drivers battling for their qualification having already put on their new tyres.
Despite this, Matteo Vigano (Tony Kart / Vortex) retained the advantage in the KZ2 International Super Cup, while Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) concluded his excellent run in 2nd position ahead of Daniel Bray (GP / TM), Emil Skaras (Energy / TM) and Max Tubben (CRG / TM), returning to 14th.
Gaetano Gomes E.S. Di Mauro (CRG / TM) climbed from 21st to 6th place, Maximilian Paul (DR / Modena) dropped to 10th, and Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex) 12th. Hubert Petit (Sodi / TM) qualified 11th, Jean Nomblot (Sodi / TM) 16th despite a problem on Saturday, Pierre Loubère (Praga / TM) is 19th, 20 places taken, Paul Evrard (Kosmic / Vortex) 22nd ahead of Emilien Denner (Kali ‘Kart / TM), with Thomas Landais (Alpha / TM) 26th, Riccardo Longhi (Birel ART / TM) 26th, and Pieter Carette (CRG / TM) 33rd.
