On slicks on a dry track, Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) passed Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) on the second round of the KF Prefinal and Egor Stupenkov (Tony Kart / Vortex) got the better of the Pole on the following lap. Casper Roes Andersen (FA Kart / Vortex) then took third position. It was a difficult start to the race for Leonardo Lorani (Tony Kart / Vortex) who lost six places in 14th position. Basz recovered and retook second while Nielsen had already escaped by over 3′. Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) attacked in 3rd position ahead of Andersen, Lorenzo Travisanutto (PCR / TM), Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) and Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex), while Stupenkov fell in the standings. Juan Correa (Energy / TM) moved up to 8th place, and Francois Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla) was 12th at halfway.
Fewtrell was threatening the 3rd placed Verschoor, Emil Skaras (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 7th position from Correa who then gave way to the recovery of his teammate Rokas Bacisuka (Energy / TM) who started last. Andersen captured fifth position by overtaking Travisanutto. Verschoor and Fewtrell passed Basz with three laps to go. Nielsen won by over 5.5” ahead of Verschoor, who set the fastest lap by just a thousandth, in his first race in KF. Fewtrell finished 3rd, Basz 4th, Andersen 5th ahead of Baciuska and Correa. Lorandi was in front of Stupenkov in 11th, Bale was 16th, and Becamel retired.
