Vincent Fraïsse (Intrepid / TM) went out to get a result in the KF2 under a lot of pressure. Solidly leading, he is was taken by Loïc Réguillon (Sodi / Parilla) on lap 5, but remained in his wake before being let down by his chain two laps later. Guillaume De Ridder (Kosmic / Vortex) took 3rd place, but he was soon joined and overtaken by Guillaume Barbarin (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Paul Loup Chatin (Energy / TM).
Coming from 11th on the grid, Sébastien Bailly (Tony Kart / Vortex) believed in his chances and he was right. He was already 4th on lap 5 and gradually closed on Barbarin. There was a big battle for 4th position between De Ridder, Dane Smith (Nowa / Parilla) and Chatin. This triggered the turbo and he irresistibly passed his two opponents, setting the fastest time yet. Bailly overtook Barbarin on the 15th of 21 laps of the race, which should provide him the title. Réguillon got away and could not be reached. De Ridder proved to be fastest in the last few laps and retook 4th position ahead of Chatin and Smith. Réguillon crossed the line the winner, Bailly, in second, was looking forward to his title. Barbarin finished 3rd.
