Sunshine and mild temperatures (13°) accompanied the last Final of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in Franciacorta, the OK category. David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) shared the front row of the grid ahead of Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame) and Emanuele Olivieri (IPK/TM), not forgetting Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 5th place and Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) 15th after his retirement in the Prefinal.
Walther was leading at the start ahead of Tarnvanichkul and Helias. Lammers was only 4th followed by Olivieri. Helias quickly moved up to 2nd place, 8 tenths behind the leader. Joe Turney (KR/Iame) had moved up five places to 6th, Iglesias six places to 9th. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) had also made up some ground while Helias was the fastest driver on track. Turney was back in the top five ahead of Lammers. At half-distance, Walther was 4,6 tenths ahead of Helias, 1,4” ahead of Tarnvanichkul, followed by Olivieri. Lammers came back to 5th and attacked Olivieri with the fastest time. Walther won with composure 4 tenths ahead of Helias. Tarnvanichkul secured 3rd place, Turney took 4th place ahead of Lammers, who was penalised. Iglesias had fought his way back to 9th position, Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) had regained 10 places by finishing 20th, Andréa Dupé (Sodi/TM) was 28th in spite of an unhooked spoiler and Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) 30th at one lap.
