After three free practice sessions on the Most track in the Czech Republic, the CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship Drivers got to the heart of the matter on this Friday at the end of the day, when they fought it out in their first qualifying practice.
Further to a tremendously hard-fought session, it was Gavin Bennett who ended up first with a lap completed in 1’32’’296 at the average speed of 164.56 km/h. He was ahead of Carl Hulme and John Riley.
All the Drivers had made sure they got it all functioning right from this first session as tomorrow’s weather conditions, and therefore those of the second timed practice session, are uncertain.
