It was a 100% Belgian front row in the KF2 prefinal. Guillaume De Ridder (Tony Kart / Vortex) retained the advantage of his pole position, but Enzo Guibbert (FA Kart / Vortex) was in his wake followed by Rémy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Leo Roussel ( Sodi / Parilla). Victor Sendin (Tony Kart / Vortex) was only 8th. Long on the bumper of Belgian, Guibbert was losing ground but wanting to attack him, without having seen what had happened, and ended up fifth behind Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / Parilla). Highly motivated, Enzo set successive fastest laps. The top three were well ahead. At the halfway point Roussel was back in the wheeltracks of Deguffroy who defended very well. The order stayed the same although the differences varied: Deguffroy gained space from Roussel and Belmaaziz pressured Guibbert.
Victory in this somewhat monotonous race went to Guillaume De Ridder, the fastest driver in the pre-final. Deguffroy was second, third was Roussel then Belmaaziz, Guibbert, Vermeylen and Sendin.
