With light rain and slippery track that was unlikely to change, the start of the KF3 final was given and Alex Palou (CRG / BMB) was in the lead and was already 1s ahead on the first lap. He was followed at a distance by Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB), Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla), George Russell (Intrepid / Vortex) and Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex). Lance Stroll retired in a crash at the end if the straight, which dropped Valentin Naud (Formula K / Vortex) back to 20th. Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM), started 20th and was already 11th on lap 2, but fell behind Dan Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) in 22nd on the following lap.
Palou was alone at the front, while Sitnikov and Ilott firmly held their second and third positions. The leader set a fastest lap on lap 8 with 1’29” 962, more than a second faster than his pursuers. The race ended in heavier rain, but without surprise or a big fight.
It was a masterful victory for Palou in front of Ilott and Sitnikov, Sargeant 4th, Russell fifth, Corberi sixth. Naud was back in 12th, Boccolacci 17th.
