Lithuanian Majus Mazinas took the lead in the Micro Max class on Thursday evening after the Qualifying Heats of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Portimao. From his 6th place in Qualifying, he took two wins to dominate Jenson Chalk (GBR) who came back eight places and Marco Manson (NZL). Maxim Bobreshov (ARE) was 4th, followed by Martim Marques (PRT). Poleman Daniel Minto (GBR) dropped back to 7th behind Kacper Rajpold (POL).
