Oleksandr Bondarev (LN/Vortex) was leading Prefinal A while Dimtry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) was replaced for a while by Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) in 2nd position. Douwe Dedecker (KR/Iame) was 2nd. Marcus Saeter (Tony Kart/Vortex) was back in 5th ahead of Enea Frey (LN/Vortex) and Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex). Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) moved up 13 places to 8th position ahead of Consani with a fastest lap in his pocket. Dedecker closed in on the leader with four laps to go and attacked him on the next lap. Matveev and Saeter had passed Kutskov. Dedecker won against Bondarev with Matveev 3rd, Saeter 4th and Kutskov 5th. Tye was 8th with a gain of 13 places, Consani 11th after some great battles. Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/TM) had lost 14 places to 25th.
South Africa’s Luviwe Sambudla (KR/Iame) briefly took the lead in Prefinal B, but Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR/Iame) took the initiative ahead of Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) and Kiril Dzitiev (Tony Kart/Vortex). Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) remained in 14th place and Maxens Verbrugge (Exprit/TM) had lost ten places.
