Rhys Hunter (GBR – Kosmic – Dan Holland Racing) started in the lead of the Senior A Final of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy while Kovacs Zsombor (HUN – EOS – KMS Europe) was ahead of Kai Hunter (GBR – EOS – Dan Holland Racing) on the first lap, but this did not last.
Kai quickly moved back into 2nd ahead of Kovacs, who was also overtaken by Nolan Lemeray (FRA – EOS) just before the slow procedure was triggered on lap 3. Once the race was restarted, Arthur Roché (FRA – Kosmic – PKS) took 4th position ahead of Kovacs, but the leading trio took the lead. On lap 9, Enzo Caldaras (FRA – Kosmic – KPR) took 4th place far behind Lemeray, but also far ahead of 5th place Lachlan Robinson (ARE – Kosmic – KR Sport). Roché was 7th.
On lap 11, Lemeray tried to attack Kai Hunter who replied. The battle for 5th position became somewhat confused. Robinson lost several places, Kovacs regained the top five ahead of Sean Butcher (GBR – Kosmic – KR Sport). Kai Hunter seemed to be preparing an attack on Rhys at the beginning of the last lap, but a yellow flag at the first corner calmed his intentions. Rhys Hunter won by 5 tenths over his brother, Lemeray secured a superb 3rd place 84 thousandths further back, but was penalised by 10″ in 11th position for overtaking under a yellow flag. Caldaras finished very isolated and recovered 3rd place, Kovacs maintained 4th place ahead of Butcher and Roché. Joran Leneutre (FRA – Tony Kart) completed a magnificent 16-place climb to 7th ahead of Micah Barthélémy (FRA – Exprit), Luca Leistra (BEL – Tony Kart – Bouvin Power) and Valentin Gil (FRA – Tony Kart) who had recovered 11 positions.
