The FIA Karting European Junior Championship Final was stopped by a the red flag on the first lap due to an accident at the second hairpin. More due to fear than harm, the race resumed for 20 laps 20 minutes later without Tikhon Karitonov and Tom Uzan. Although Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart / Vortex) kept the lead, Victor Bernier (Kosmic / Parilla) was 2nd in front of Gabriele Mini '(Parolin / Parilla) and Paul Aron (FA Kart / Vortex). Another incident occurred at the second hairpin, but without consequences. Taylor Barnard (KR / Parilla) and Conrad Laursen (FA Kart / Vortex) dropped to the back of the pack. Bernier took the lead on the second lap and Alex Dunne (Exprit / TM) was 3rd ahead of Mini 'and Bortoleto. Isack Hadjar (Exprit / TM) moved into 6th position. Already up nine places, Kirill Smal (Tony Kart / Vortex) was back in the top 10.


On lap 7, Bedrin and Dunne took each other out, again at the second hairpin. Bernier was alone in the lead, 1' ahead of Mini', Bortoleto, then Hadjar. Halfway through, Mini' was close to 0.238'' from Bernier and took the lead on the next lap. In 5th, Aron remained leader of the championship by just three points. Further on, Marcus Amand (KR / Parilla) was back to 11th place, Evann Mallet (Kosmic / Parilla) was 15th and Elliott Vayron (Tony Kart / Vortex) 20th. Aron accelerated the pace and got closer to the podium in the final laps. He then tried several attacks on Bortoleto who resisted strongly. His teammate O'Sullivan was not able to overtake him for 4th place, while Smal was in 6th position.


Meanwhile, Mini' took a great win ahead of Bernier and Bortoleto. Hadjar finished in an excellent 7th place, Amand 12th, Mallet 13th, Vayron 17th. Aron becomes European Junior Champion with 83 points, Mini' 2nd (80 pts), Bortoleto 3rd (68 pts), Bernier 4th (56 pts) and Askey 5th (55 pts).
