26 drivers in Vallelunga for Friday’s Free Practice: Joao Vieira is the fastest.
In the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth drivers have started warming up for the two Free Practice sessions at Vallelunga track.
First Free Practice sessions of the year for the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth. 26 drivers have ran the first two sessions in the morning and afternoon in Vallelunga track, first appointment of the Championship.
In the first session drivers have began to warm up and gain confidence on the Roman circuit, where the strong rain fallen during the last days has completely cleaned up the asphalt. Prema Power Team with Ralf Aron (1’34.838) has set the best time, followed by Mauricio Baiz (1’35.077) of Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, Giuliano Raucci (1.35.186) Prema, and Joao Vieira (1’35.235) of Antonelli Motorport.
In the second session, practice has been stopped after a few laps for the out of track of Bar Baruch, of Israel F.4. After restart lap times have gone down considerably, with best from Joao Vieira (Antonelli Motorsport) in 1’34.538, followed by Ralf Aron (Prema Power Team) just behind with in 1’34.571 and Guan Zhou Yu, with 1’34.859. Marcos Sieber (Jenzer Motorsport) is fourth with 1’34.889, fifth is David Alexander Beckmann (ADAC Berlin – Muecke Motorsport) with 1’34.948, and sixth is Matteo Desideri (Antonelli Motorsport), with 1’35.078.
Tomorrow the F.4 Vallelunga appointment will continue with Qualifying Session 1 and 2 from 9:10 to 9:50, while in the afternoon race 1 will start at 14:10, for total 28′ plus 1 lap.
