Logan Sargeant scored his best result of the year at the new Adria Karting Raceway, with a place on the second step of the podium in KF-Junior after a good effort to recover from qualifying.
It must be said that the young American driver was not in the fastest timed session, the second being found to be significantly faster. He drive very determinedly in the heats driving his FA Kart / Vortex with the RFM team. With the fastest time in the first race, he kept moving up the field: four places, then six and then eight in the last. At this rate, he moved up into the top 10 in the intermediate classification, specifically to 9th position.
Logan continued his momentum in prefinal A, quickly reaching 3rd place with excellent times early in the race, then moved up to threaten the leaders. His prefinal ended with 3rd place, and a position on the third row on the starting grid for the final. The fight for second place was more lively in an intense pack. Logan once again managed to make a difference and to move towards the leaders. He finally seized the coveted second place with two laps to go while the winner had escaped long ago.
It was a rewarding second place achieved on a new track. Logan has definitely improved this year in KF-Junior with the support of Gary Catt and his Infinity Sport Management organisation.
