Swedish young driver Felix Nilsson decided to take part in the WSK Master Series at the very last minute. Indeed, he was still suffering with his ribs after the Winter Cup and only a custom-made protection prepared by Tillett allowed him to be in Muro Leccese. With minimum equipment, he jumped into the cabin of his Intrepid/TM prepared by LM Karting just in time for the last practices.
Due to missing practice, Felix concluded the timed qualifying phase 53rd out of 73 drivers in KF3. Then he did a very good job in the heats, seizing even the slightest opportunity to recover places. He also battled in the top 10 on several occasions. To say that races are turbulent is something of an understatement and Felix, who still lacks experience, often suffered the consequences. But there will be other occasions to reach the final phases, maybe already at the forthcoming WSK Euro Series round in Sarno!
