Vittorio Mangili was fortunate to race with Julie Tonelli, in the same team in 2001 at Ottobiano. Now aged 26, he remembers this pretty girl very well, who was totally passionate and perfectly integrated into the karting circus. No wonder he has remained faithful to the pink butterflies ever since. Vittorio is now happy to see the actions of the Fondation Julie Tonelli pour l’Enfance for children who are sick
or in difficulty.
Vittorio is also a passionate racer, and 200% backed by his father, as both main sponsor and mechanic. He knows he will never be world champion, but he can to continue to indulge his passion. Racing on FA Kart since 2008, he noted that it is now very difficult to get good results in KF1 or Super KF without being a professional driver. He is prevented from pursuing his career in a spirit of pure amateur in the
sense of the term, simply because he cannot get enough time in the kart. It is a shame that this kind of driver is disappearing today, as they make our sport what it is.
We therefore closely follow the progress of Vittorio Mangili in the WSK in 2009 and perhaps in the World Championship at Macau. Forza Vittorio!
