Emilien Grosso (Intrepid / TM) seized his chance at the start of the final for KZ2 and took over from Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) and the Sodi boys, Anthony Abbasse was stuck behind Charles Fiault, while Pierre Ragues was not far away in 5th position. But Thierry Delrez (BRM / TM) seized the opportunity soon after followed by Charles Martin (CRG / TM). Fiault overtook Grosso for second place, Abbasse fell to 6th position and then Martin went to 4th place.
Mich was not worried ahead of the race and boosted his lead over Fiault and Grosso. Abbasse was now up to 4th position and progressively closed on Grosso. In 6th place, Charly Bizalion (Intrepid / TM), put in a good performance and returned to Martin. Abbasse attacked Grosso on the 12th lap, but he had to fight for his 3rd position too. The peloton stretched like a winter day in Lapland and the checkered flag ended up celebrating victory for Mich, ahead of Fiault who was 2” from third who was Abbasse.
