Temperatures are cool on Saturday morning at Zuera: 10 ° C for both the air and the track, despite clear skies with no wind and weak sunshine. In the first group, the RFM drivers still swept the top places, four in the top 5, and Dan Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex) ahead of his teammate Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) by 2.5 tenths with 1 ’01” 145, Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart / Vortex) was third ahead of Guillermo Russo (FA Kart / Vortex) and Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex). Mick Betsch finished 6th. Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) improved in the final lap despite an unfavorable position at the start and was 16th.
Also at RFM two drivers dominated the second group with Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex) who drove an excellent final lap with the fastest time of 1’01” 161 from Max Fextrell (FA Kart / Vortex). Always well placed, Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) took third position ahead of the excellent David Beckmann (Zanardi / BMB) and James Pull (Zanardi / Parilla).
Ticktum took pole ahead of Daruvala, Fewtrell was 3rd, Sitnikov 4th, Beckmann 5th and Pull 6th. In a few minutes the drivers will be in the Superpole.
