Kozlinski (PCR / TM) took pole position for the KZ1 final with Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) at his side, but the Dutch driver made the best start. Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter) was in third place ahead of Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla), Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex), Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) and Paolo De Conto (Birel / BMB) who would soon pass the Italian.
