As always, the voltage increased with the superpole sessions: all of the drivers could be seen monitoring the clock on the pre-grid so as to go out at the right time and enjoy the effects of the 1700 m slipstream circuit of Sarno, generally doing no more than 3 laps.
Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) was fastest on the wire in KFJ, with a time of 1’07” 032, against the formidable Robert Schwartzman (Tony Kart / TM) by less than 3/100 and gaining 5 places . Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) took 3rd place ahead of Niko Kari (FA Kart / Vortex) and Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart / Vortex).
The 12 drivers qualified in KF were even quicker off the mark than the Juniors. The first to go out, George Russell (Birel / TM) had less than 5 minutes. Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) connects fastest sectors with impressive consistency and set the fastest lap with 1’05” 041 from Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex), while in third, Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) was 0.182” ahead of Ilott and Dabski.
