There was a beautiful all-French battle from the start of the WSK Master Series in La Conca with pole set by Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) on 45” 972 in the second session, followed by Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex), leading the first session with 46” 142. The evergreen Stéphanois restored the situation by taking Superpole with a time of 45” 960, 13 thousandths faster than the young pretender Boccolacci. Third place went to Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) from Dalton Sargeant and Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) who were engaged in a fight between the generations.
Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) succeeded on his debut in KF in seventh position ahead of Ben Barnicoat (ART GP / TM). George Russell (Birel / TM) just missed selection for Superpole with his 13th position. Valentin Moineault (ART GP / TM), the second French driver, was 20th, Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) was a bit disappointed with 23rd, Paul Boutonnet (Zanardi / Parilla), in 40th, didn’t have a machine powerful enough.
