The sun returned for the last last race, for DD2. Kazimieras Vasiliauskas (LTU) and Simas Juodvirsis (LTU) were on the front row, Daniel Formal (USA) and Joey Wimsett (USA) on the second. Ben Cooper (CAN) completed the first lap in the lead, but a collision changed the game soon after: Wimsett led from Juodvirsis, Oriol Dalmau Caballer (ESP), Jason Pringle (AUS), Simon Wagner (AUT) and Mika Laiho (FIN ). Formal retired at the start and Vasiliauskas and Cooper joined the list of retirements. Juodvirsis took control ahead of Wimsett, Dalmau and Pringle. Juodvirsis gradually increased his lead as the fight raged for 2nd place. Dalmau led the group ahead of Wimsett, Pringle and Wagner. Mathias Detige (BEL) went into fourth position by overtaking Pringle and Wagner. The duel between Dalmau and Wimsett caused a rather promising pack of 6 to bunch up and enhance the show. Starting 31st, Pier-Luc Ouellette (CAN) was in the top 10 after the halfway point. Pringle and Wagner took over the fight behind Winsett, in 3rd. Thomas Arme (GBR) moved up from 6th to 4th after Pringle on a rumble strip. Meanwhile, Juodvirsis was flying to victory and the duel between Wimsett and Dalmau was unabated. Wagner took fourth position from Arme. Juodvirsis won with a comfortable lead, Wimsett took second place by 35 thousandths against Dalmau who had attacked on the last lap. Wagner finished 4th, Arme 5th, and Detige sixth.
