There was a mad first lap at the start of the KZ2 final. Charles Fiault (Sodi / Maxter) started well while it was heating up behind him with great impetuosity from Julien Poncelet (ART GP / TM) in the first brawl with Pierre Ragues (Sodi / Maxter), while Maxim Roy (Tony Kart / TM) lost ground. Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM) did not complete a lap.

Fiault escaped from the melee. Poncelet then again had to defend from Roy, followed by Laurent Marchandise (CRG / Maxter) and Adam Maatougui (Energy / TM). Ragues retired on lap 9. Roy and Marchandise attacked Poncelet on the 14th lap, while Eric Goron (Intrepid / TM) overcame Maatougui.

Fiault retained a big lead to the end and won a stunning victory over Maxim Roy, the man to beat in KZ2. Marchandise took the third step of the podium.
