Starting in the last of the three Qualifying sessions of the KF3 WSK Master Series at La Conca, the Briton Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) slammed in a fantastic time which left his opponents speechless. With 46.274s, he headed his compatriot George Russell (Intrepid / TM) by nearly 3/10, equal to the track conditions! Yet in the second session, the fastest time was 46.367s from by Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex) ahead of Spaniard Alex Palou (CRG / BMB) and Finland’s Niko Kari ( Tony Kart / Vortex). In the first session, Antonio D’Angelo (Birel / BMB) had the fastest lap with 46” 525, followed by 0.1s by Felix Nilsson (Energy / TM) and Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Having trouble with the carburettor, Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM), was eighth in his group and 17th overall. There was a good performance from Bryan Elpitya (Zanardi / Parilla), sixth in his group and 21st overall. Valentin Naud (Formula K / TM) was unable to make the most of his lap, he was 16th and 40th in the overall ranking. 15th in his group, Julien Darras (Intrepid / TM) was relegated 50th out of the 75 drivers competing.
The pole clearly belonged to Callum Ilott in front of Luca Corberi, Alex Palou, George Russell and Antonio D’Angelo.
