The start of Beitske Visser‘s season in KZ1 has been marked by a long series of mishaps. And the second round of the WSK Master Series in Val Vibrata has been no exception to this rule. While she was comfortably in the top 5, Beitske was once again run into by some irresponsible driver who ruined her chances of success. Currently 5th in the Championship, she is still aiming at a final podium.
A favourable opportunity to fulfil this hope came on the French circuit of Ostricourt. Beitske conquered immediately the pole position in KZ2 time qualifying at the NL Karting Series, and his engine problem did not prevent her from continuing her triumphant march during a racing Sunday that was perfect under every point of view.
«I was so happy to be on the top step of the podium again!» she confessed. «Of course I am aware that the level will be higher at the European KZ1 Championship, but this race has done me a lot of good and I am thinking of entering the last BNL meeting in Genk, in August. In the weeks to come, I will get ready for the European meeting in Wackersdorf, in particular the WSK Master in Siena, which I won in 2010».
