After the summer break and the end of the European Championships, international Karting is getting ready to get back on track. September has got two major events on schedule: next 13th September, in France, the World KZ Championship, the International KZ2 Supercup KZ2 and the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy; on 27th September, at the International Circuit La Conca in Italy, the World KF and KFJ Championship will be the closing event of the season.
In Le Mans for the KZ title.
Teams and drivers are already working to prepare the event in France where, from 10th to 13th September, 188 participants will challenge each other on the 1,384 metres of the Le Mans Karting International. There are 36 entrants to the World KZ Championship: on top of the list the new European Champion, the Italian Flavio Camponeschi and his fellow countryman Marco Ardigò, the reigning World Champion, both on Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone.
The entrants to the CIK-FIA KZ2 International Supercup are 101, who will be split in two Pre-finals before the Final which will award the trophy. Also this category is going to be uncertain and with many drivers who can aim at winning the event: among them the Swedish Joel Johansson (Energy-TM-LeCont), the 2015 European Champion of the category. Don’t miss the third and last round of the Academy Trophy, which is currently led by the Spanish Marta Garcia Lopez.
