The KF1 drivers did not forget to move their karts on the grid so as not to remain stuck on the track at the start. Nyck De Vries did not start for the second consecutive time. The battery was not strong enough to start the engine. His machine was carried to the official repair area and he finally manages to start a long way behind the field.
Ignazio D’Agosto (Tony Kart / Vortex) was in the lead, closely followed by Yu Kanamaru (Tony Kart / Vortex), Alexander Albon (Intrepid / TM) was third then Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Rémy Degufffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Karol Basz (RK / TM). Pakari, Suninen and Roussel crashed and gave up. Albon was in the dust in the middle of the circuit.

There were four Tony Karts in the lead, followed by Hubert. De Vries was 16th. The battle for second place between Camponeschi and D’Agosto. Albon was preparing to attack Gromanova for sixth place. De Vries attacked Groman and Gromanova who replied, and he definitely came up against resistance from Zdenek. Hubert defended perfectly against Albon’s recovery.
In mid-race, the leaders were still Kanamaru, D’Agosto, Camponeschi, Deguffroy and Hubert. The excitement may come from the rise of De Vries, which is nothing new, although he seemed less dominant than on Saturday. Hubert was close to his compatriot Deguffroy. Last lap. Hubert threatened Deguffroy and passed for fourth under braking at the hairpin. Would De Vries be be able to pass Lock? Yes, but only at the last corner.
Victory went t the Japanese driver Yu Kanamaru before the Italians Camponeschi and D’Agosto then two French, Hubert and Deguffroy who completed the top five ahead of Albon and De Vries.
